After his 1st album LEATHER TEETH released in 2018, and a series of concerts across Europe and North America, Carpenter Brut returns with : LEATHER TERROR, the second album in his imagined "Leather" trilogy.
It is the continuation of the story of Bret Halford, who has become a ruthless avenger, a real rock star with his band Leather Patrol. Bret Halford is constantly seeking revenge on the men who caused his trauma, the men who once stood between, him and his high school cheerleader Kendra.
This new album is deeply influenced by martial, industrial and metal sounds while leaving room for more pop and atmospheric parts. Carpenter Brut becomes the instigator of violence, the soundtrack to Bret's relentless revenge.
CARPENTER BRUT draws his influences from 80's TV shows and movies who are full of synthesizers and explains that it is a meeting of the "beats of Justice" and the world of John Carpenter. Carpenter Brut pays homage to this "post-hippie/pre-AIDS" culture and incorporates the basics of metal and electro to offer us a unique and violent sound in a purely insane 80's revival .
