NEW REMASTERED EDITION OF THE CLASSIC 1971 DEBUT SOLO ALBUM BY THE LEGENDARY GERRY RAFFERTY FEATURING ONE BONUS TRACK FULLY RESTORED ARTWORK AND LINER NOTES WITH EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a newly re-mastered edition of Can I Have My Money Back?, the classic debut solo album by the legendary singer-songwriter GERRY RAFFERTY. Recorded in 1971 for Transatlantic Records, the album followed Rafferty's two albums as a member of The Humblebums with Billy Connolly. Upon its original release, 'Can I Have My Money Back' was critically acclaimed as a fine fusion of folk and rock influences. The track 'Sign on the Dotted Line' would see Rafferty collaborate on the writing with Joe Egan, which in turn would eventually lead to the formation of the band Stealers Wheel. This new edition of Can I Have My Money Back? has been newly re-mastered and features the addition of a bonus track, 'So Bad Thinking' (originally released as the B-side of a single of the album title track). The booklet features a new essay and fully restores the original album artwork.
