The 1995 surf band reunion concert at the Lighthouse nightclub in Hermosa Beach, California, has become legendary among modern fans of surf instrumental music as one of the earliest opportunities to have seen 1960’s instrumental surf music legends perform. Since 1995, some of these individuals have passed away; others have publicly performed at many music events. This was an exciting event a year after Tarantino’s “Pulp Fiction” soundtrack CD was still selling like hotcakes.
