It has been ten years since their debut album Finnmark and eight years since Natur. Now Ondt Blod are finally ready with their third album, Bauta. Here they cultivate the mix of hard-hitting hardcore and strong melodies they have become known for.
The opening track ‘AUX’ kicks the door in with a desire to tear down the established, while songs like “Kembo” and ‘Flamma’ (featuring Ida Maria on guest vocals) show a more nostalgic and melodic side of the band.
Throughout their career, Ondt Blod have held on to their northern Norwegian identity and Sami roots. This has taken them from Kirkenes to stages in both Europe and Japan, and given them a loyal fan base. Bauta confirms that the band still has a lot to say.
