Nervous psyche or meticulous punk, Mickle Muckle has been stirring since 2018 with his badly mooned mic mac and energy ready to bite. Raised off the wrong foot after too long lockdown, the band is shady about the creation of their first album since the singles BROKE and LOST that set the stage. It took a little patience, take the time to try things and then start from scratch. Eight months to compose, to venture to record differently — a few drum machines for an even more tense sound, several microphones to pick up the movement of the voice and twist the material until it scratches, stings and bounces. A first album considered as a reset, marked by wandering but above all by urgency: TIT FOR TAT, eye for eye, not time for regrets. 9 tracks crossed by rage and hallucinated visions, where we alternate between wild accelerations and halts in the fog. A record that rumbles, reminiscent of the fury of Idles and Osees, and where we discover the shadow of The Fall and Suicide.
