Summer, Johanna - Dialoge LP

Dialoge is an album built on encounter, spontaneity, and the meeting of musical worlds. Bringing together composed works from the classical repertoire and immediate improvisation, the project unfolds as a series of musical conversations between pianist Johanna Summer and four remarkable artists: Claire Huangci, Danae Dörken, Kit Armstrong, and Igor Levit. Each guest performs a piece of their choice, to which Summer responds in the moment with an improvised continuation at a second grand piano. In this unique exchange, classical works become the starting point for new musical paths, blurring the boundaries between interpretation and improvisation and creating a vibrant dialogue between tradition and invention.
