Lesoir - Tomorrow Is Now Today LP

Tomorrow is now today is the new album from the Dutch band Lesoir, formed in Maastricht in 2009. Moving between art rock, modern progressive rock, atmospheric melodies, and heavier passages, the band arrives at this album with more than fifteen years of activity and six studio albums in its catalogue. The record continues the path opened by 2024's Push Back The Horizon, preserving the strength of the songs and the energy of the stage while bringing back part of the space and atmosphere explored on Mosaic. To expand the emotional weight of the tracks, Lesoir incorporated live percussion, a string quartet, detailed string arrangements, and new vocal possibilities into a production focused on more contrast and openness. The album looks at collective issues, violence, fear, resistance, affection, and uncertainty, utilizing a narrative device built from research and listening. From the art-rock layers of "Is It nothing?" and the bright, accessible pop elements of "Stay Close to Me," to the three-part progressive rock track "Nothing or All?", Tomorrow is now today organizes elements developed over the years into a broader work, presenting an experienced band in a moment of expansion.
