TANZWUT between new beginnings and reflection: “HERZ AUS STEIN” – An album as a mirror of our times. In a world that spins ever faster and where headlines chase each other, TANZWUT return with a work that addresses the pain precisely where it hurts – and where it heals. “HERZ AUS STEIN” is not a polished rock album; it is an honest assessment. “HERZ AUS STEIN” is a reckoning with the coldness of our times, but also an embrace for those who feel lost in them. The sound is characteristically powerful, almost defiantly punk. In an era of isolation and digital falseness, TANZWUT return to an almost forgotten virtue: naked, musical honesty. Rocking, dance-infused songs like "Rosenkrieg" (War of the Roses) and "Keine Band für eine Nacht" (No Band for One Night) are complemented by new, punky tones in "No Future," a song that couldn't be more relevant or poignant. But it's especially in the album's quieter moments that the vulnerability of this world becomes palpable. Songs like "Herz aus Stein" (Heart of Stone) and "Ewig wie das Eis" (Eternal as Ice) aren't mere ballads—they offer a glimpse behind the scenes of a band that, after decades in the spotlight, no longer fears silence. They reflect the desire for a pause in a world that knows no respite. The album is a vibrant carnival of emotions: sometimes the beats whip through like a frenetic dance in a marketplace, sometimes epic melodies transport the listener to melancholic depths. It's about the facades we build and the moment when the music melts them away. Raw, loud, and yet surprisingly relatable. A mix of punk attitude, hard riffs, and melodies that first send you into the mosh pit and then grab you by the heart with an icy chill. And the trademark bagpipes are, of course, a must, as are the delicate violins and cello, which refine TANZWUT's sound.
