Set for release on June 16th via Nonesuch Records, Crack-Up will come six years after the 2011 release of Helplessness Blues and almost a decade since the band’s 2008 self-titled debut. Album track “Third of May / Ōdaigahara,” a nearly nine-minute epic powered by piano, electric twelve-string guitar, string quartet, and the group’s trademark harmonies, is out now. All 11 of the album’s songs were written by Fleet Foxes' own Robin Pecknold, and the album was co-produced by Pecknold and band-mate Skyler Skjelset. The band has also announced new tour dates, including their first North American shows since October 2011.
