Lillian Axe - Love + war CD

Lillian Axe is an American hard rock band from New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. “Love + War” is the second studio album by the American glam-metallers, released in 1989. This album does have loads of relatively sophisticated melodic metal guitar riffage from Stevie Blaze and some very tight ensemble work from a band that was more accomplished than most of their peers. Lillian Axe was trying to move metal to a more interesting level at the time, and it’s to their credit that so much of this album is still so listenable decades later. The band became the first hard rock act to be inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall Of Fame.
