Violinist and composer Sarah Neufeld is best known as member of Arcade Fire and founding member of the contemporary ensemble Bell Orchestre, but also as half of the duo with saxophonist Colin Stetson.
For her solo-work Neufeld has been influenced by Bela Bartok, Steve Reich, Iva Bittova and Arthur Russell and the genres contemporary Electro-Acoustic, Avant-Folk and Indie-Rock Music. Her second album ‘The Ridge’ features performances from Colin Stetson, Tim Hecker and Arcade Fire’s Jeremy Gara on drums and
synth.
