Björn Olsson hardly needs any further introduction... or is that perhaps really what he does? just about everyone (in Sweden) has heard him through Håkan Hellström, but what almost no one knows is that it is this Björn who put together all of Håkan's hits. Anyway, now we're not going to talk about HH but about Björn... so what does he sound like? Like Håkan or? Yes, in the melodies, this is instrumental namely, mixed with Morricone, library music and traditional Swedish folk and visa. Björn's music is very brave in a way that few others dare to be. It borrows often and lovingly and it never tries to be anything more complicated than the most difficult thing there is, namely making beautiful, simple and naive music.
