Meurkens, Hendrik - The Jazz Meurkengers CD

Stating a bebop melody on a chromatic harmonica has only been achieved by a small handful of jazz harmonica players, most notably Toots Thielemans and Hendrik Meurkens. On this new album 'The Jazz Meurkengers' Meurkens has enlisted pianist Steve Ash, bassist Chris Berger and drummer Andy Watson to deliver an album of killer hard bop grooves in the style of Winton Kelly and Jimmy Cobb.
